About us..
Established in 2016, the Dufferin Rooftop Recreational Riders Association has been dedicated to advocating for trail access in Dufferin and Grey Counties. In 2024, the Association achieved a significant milestone by obtaining access to the Dufferin & Grey Rail Trail. We remain committed to working with Dufferin County to expand access to forest trail systems.
Why Choose the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR)
The Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR) is the leading organization in Ontario for off-road motorcycle and dual-sport trail riders, offering much more than just access to great trails — it’s your gateway to community, advocacy, and the best riding experiences the province has to offer.
All you need to do is choose one club (Choose DRRRA)
When you join the OFTR, you gain access to hundreds of kilometres of off-road motorcycle trails throughout Ontario. Whether you’re exploring technical single track or cruising historic rail trails like those in the Dufferin and Grey areas, membership gives you legal, organized access to some of the province’s most exciting riding terrain.
DRRRA/OFTR members get exclusive access to trail maps, riding areas, and the RideOFTR app, a powerful mapping tool that helps you plan and navigate rides with up-to-date trail status, difficulty levels, and route details right on your phone or tablet.
The OFTR serves as a unified voice for off-road riders in Ontario, advocating on behalf of the riding community with governments, landowners, and other stakeholders. This work helps protect existing riding areas and opens doors to new opportunities while promoting responsible trail stewardship.
Members enjoy exclusive events, organized trail rides, and opportunities to connect with other riders who share the same passion for exploring Ontario’s backroads and forests. OFTR membership also opens the door to special discounts from sponsors and partners.
By joining the DRRRA you’re not just getting a trail pass, you’re helping support a strong, sustainable future for off-road riding in Ontario. Your membership helps preserve trail access, grow riding communities, and ensures the sport thrives for generations to come.
